跨代企业家精神的涌现:一个知识协作的双路径模型

摘要:

促进跨代企业家精神的涌现已经成为未来大多数家族企业将要筹谋的关键问题。然而,现有研究普遍从二代涉入的视角探讨,忽略了多世代家族成员的共同参与。文章引入知识协作的视角,将关注点转移到接班人与家族成员的协作中,强调跨代企业家精神的涌现是一个家族成员共同努力的长期过程。基于此,文章以6家存在多代家族成员的老字号家族企业为研究对象,采用多案例研究方法,研究发现:跨代企业家精神的涌现是沿着“关系嵌入—知识协作—跨代创业”的逻辑链条产生的,并基于知识协作的模式分解出两条主要路径:心智结构主要通过适应式协调促进创新力突破,权力主要通过规划式合作促进家族力坚守。而进一步分析路径的演化,发现所谓跨代企业家精神的涌现实质是一种自组织过程,并经由人际信任的反馈而产生。文章以知识协作为研究视角,通过揭示促进跨代企业家精神涌现的路径,以及路径演化的自组织机制,以期为家族企业如何激发跨代企业家精神提供理论依据和实践指导。

Abstract:

Facilitating the emergence of transgenerational entrepreneurship has become a key strategic issue for the long-term development of most family businesses. However, existing research predominantly examines the topic from the perspective of successor involvement, often overlooking the collaborative participation of multigenerational family members. Adopting a knowledge collaboration perspective, this study shifts the focus to the interaction between successors and family members, emphasizing that the emergence of transgenerational entrepreneurship is a long-term process driven by collective effort within the family. Based on a multiple-case study of six long-standing family businesses with multigenerational involvement, the research finds that transgenerational entrepreneurship emerges along a logical chain of “ relational embeddedness → knowledge collaboration →transgenerational entrepreneurship. ” Furthermore, two distinct pathways are identified based on modes of knowledge collaboration:mental structure primarily promotes innovative breakthroughs through adaptive coordination, while power supports the preservation of familiness through planned cooperation. Further analysis of the evolutionary process reveals that the emergence of transgenerational entrepreneurship is essentially a self-organizing mechanism, reinforced through interpersonal trust feedback. By introducing a knowledge collaboration perspective, this study reveals the pathways through which transgenerational entrepreneurship emerges and the self-organizing dynamics underlying its evolution, offering theoretical and practical insights for family businesses seeking to foster entrepreneurial continuity across generations.
